01 / Free website audit
Not another automated score, a real assessment
Plenty of tools will audit your website for free: paste a URL, read a score, scroll through 87 red warnings. The trouble is that a tool does not know what your website is for. It flags a missing alt attribute in the footer as loudly as a contact button nobody can find on a phone.
We use measurement tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights as a starting point, but the judgement comes from a person on our team. Instead of an error dump you get an answer to one question: what is stopping your website from bringing in more enquiries or sales, and which fix is worth doing first?

How to get your free website audit
- 01
Send us the address
Use the contact form and pick “Other” as the service, or email hello@tanomedia.com. The website address is all we need.
- 02
Optional: goal and competitor
If you like, tell us what the website should achieve and who your strongest competitor is. The report gets more specific.
- 03
We review it by hand
Someone on our team goes through your website on desktop and phone and measures speed and technical basics.
- 04
PDF report within a few working days
You receive the 15-point report as a PDF by email. Read it in your own time, pass it on to your team or current agency and tick the points off one by one.
- 05
Optional: a short call
If you want, we go through the report together on a short video or phone call and answer your questions. It is an offer, not a requirement and not a sales pitch.

When an audit is worth it
Before a redesign, so you know what the new site has to do better. When enquiries from the website drop and you cannot see why. Before you hire an agency, so you can compare proposals properly. Or simply when your website is a few years old and you want a second opinion.
To judge for yourself whether a rebuild is due, read the signs your website needs a redesign. If visibility on Google is the main worry, start with SEO for small businesses.

Who reviews your website
Tanomedia is a senior team of three specialists in design, code and strategy, founded in Düsseldorf in 2023 and based in Lisbon, with more than 45 projects for clients in Germany and Portugal. Your audit is done by the people who also plan and build our websites, not by an intern working through a template.
Because we work in English, German and Portuguese, we also review multilingual websites in every language version, including whether Google matches each language to the right audience.

What the free audit is not
The audit is a well-founded first assessment, not a full SEO audit and not a legal review. On accessibility we check the basics; whether your website meets the European Accessibility Act can only be answered by a full test against WCAG 2.1 AA. It is not a malware scan either.
If the audit points to a bigger job, such as an SEO strategy or ongoing website care, we explain what it would involve and quote a fixed price if you ask. For SEO and measurement, our digital strategy work is the natural next step.
FAQ
Common questions
01Is the website audit really free?
Yes. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing. We do it because it shows how we work. Some people hire us afterwards; many simply apply the tips themselves.
02How long until I get the report?
Usually a few working days. If many requests arrive at once, we let you know when to expect it.
03What format is the result in?
A PDF report by email, covering all 15 checks with a short explanation for each and a clear order of priority. If you want, we also go through it with you on a short video or phone call. The call is optional.
04How is this different from a free online audit tool?
A tool measures and lists warnings. We judge which ones matter for your business, look at design and conversion, which no tool can assess, and put everything in order of priority.
05Do you need logins to my website?
No. We review the public website. We only need access later, if you ask us to make changes.
06Do you audit online shops too?
Yes, including Shopify and WooCommerce stores. There we also look at product pages, the basket and the path to checkout.
